A single rackmount unit installed in your plant room handles all local processing. No cloud required — everything runs from hardware inside your home. Quad-core ARM processor, hardware-encrypted SSD storage, and a dedicated network interface ensure sub-100ms response across all systems.

Network

A dedicated home network

Omnelys installs a dedicated, segmented network for all smart home devices — separate from your personal data network. Devices on this network cannot reach the internet except through a controlled whitelist. Your security cameras, sensors, and controllers cannot be reached from outside.

Interface

Keypads and touch panels

Physical keypads are the primary interface. Brushed stainless, brushed bronze, or powder-coated finishes to match your interior. Each keypad is addressable, configurable, and has an optional e-ink display that shows room state. Touch panels for complex spaces with full scene visualisation.

Sensors

The sensing layer

Omnelys uses a network of passive infrared, temperature, humidity, CO₂, lux, and door-contact sensors to build a real-time picture of your home. Presence detection that actually works — without cameras in living spaces. Occupancy-based automation that knows when a room is empty.

Audio / Video

Multi-room AV

Omnelys integrates with professional AV equipment from Sonos, Denon, Yamaha, Linn, and others. Multi-room audio with independent volume per zone. Video matrix switching for source routing. Integration is native — not a HDMI-CEC workaround.

Lighting

Adaptive lighting control

DALI-2 and DMX dimming for professional-grade lighting control. Omnelys tracks solar elevation and adjusts colour temperature across the day — warm amber at dawn, neutral white for working hours, warm again at dusk. Scenes that follow the light outside, automatically.

Designed in from the start. Omnelys works with your architect and M&E contractor to specify the correct cable routes, equipment positions, and riser requirements. The cleanest possible installation.
