Your home works without the internet

All logic, all automation, and all device control runs on the Omnelys Controller inside your home. Internet connectivity is optional — used only for remote access and optional software updates. A fibre outage does not affect your lights, climate, or security.

No subscription

You own the system outright

There is no monthly cloud fee. No per-device licence. No service that can be switched off. Once installed, Omnelys is yours — and will continue to operate without any ongoing payment to us.

Hardware-encrypted storage

Your data does not leave your property

The Omnelys Controller uses a hardware security module for key storage and AES-256 encryption at rest. Your automation history, access logs, and configuration cannot be decrypted without the physical hardware. No remote backup is made without your explicit consent.

Auditability

You can see everything the system does

Every automation, every event, every device state change is logged to an on-device audit trail. The log is accessible from the admin interface and can be exported. Nothing happens in the background that you cannot inspect.

Open standards

No vendor lock-in at the device layer

Omnelys uses open protocols — MQTT, Zigbee, Z-Wave, DALI, KNX, Modbus — wherever possible. Proprietary cloud bridges are used only where the manufacturer provides no local API. Your devices can be used with other systems if you choose to leave.

Longevity

Built to last a decade, not a product cycle

The Omnelys Controller is designed for a 10-year operating life. Hardware is repairable, not disposable. Software updates are distributed directly — not through an app store that could delist the app. We do not sunset hardware for commercial reasons.
